Self care is a term that has recently been spoken about as more of us are realising the benefits of taking time to focus and look after ourselves more.
That dedicated time that sees us move away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, the loud noises, the busy commute and being technology free. The freedom to have space and time just for ourselves, creating much needed peace and balance in our lives.
The importance is that we have a moment where we have time to reflect, and to look within so that we are able to return to who we are right now. The return to our true nature.
Self care can be whatever we wish it to be, whatever resonates and makes us feel completely relaxed and in alignment.
So, where does crystal healing fit into all of this?
Whether you are new or have frequent treatments, there’s no doubt that crystal healing is the ultimate self care. From the moment my clients enter my treatment room they are walking into a sacred space that has been cleansed using incense.
Where the soft aromas of Nag Champa greet them, and the gentle sounds of meditation music are used alongside soft lighting to ease them into a relaxed state. The glistening crystals ready to emit their loving, healing energy. Creating a harmonious environment to promote wellbeing even before the client steps in.
I remember the first time I had crystal healing; I lay on the couch with a soft pillow under my head and covered in warm, cosy blankets. I could feel my body melt, and all tension release, and my mind drift to faraway places.
Even though my eyes were closed, I could see a beautiful array of colours, geometric shapes, and flashes of animal faces.
Even though I wasn’t sure what this represented at the time, I felt incredibly safe and content, almost like I was being held like a baby.
The power to rebalance lives
This is what crystal healing does, the crystals connect with us, so that it gives us what we need physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. It retunes our chakras and auric layers, promoting balance and harmony.
When this happens a new vibrational energy is created, allowing the individual to experience a higher state of awareness, and enabling the soul to expand, evolve and heal.
Multidimensional guides, such as angels, can be called upon to support the individual on a deeper level, by channeling unconditional love, particularly if they have experienced shame, grief or trauma.
Coloured crystals can be selected to correspond to the chakras to clear any blockages, or to stimulate a psychological response. For example, the orange colour of Citrine can spark joy if someone is feeling sad.
Even when a crystal healing treatment has come to an end, the healing will remain integrated in that individual for as long as needed.
I always surround my clients in an angelic bubble of love and light, and place them in a protective pyramid to keep their energy grounded and protected.
The gentle chime of a tingsha bell helps them return after deep relaxation and to bring them back to full awareness in their own time.
This is why crystal healing is the ultimate self care.
